Crazy cow!

So, I was driving at 140m/hr along the N2 from Durban to Pietermarizburg, South Africa today, very late for an appointment...when in a blink of an eye in front of me walking slowly down the fast lane was an Nguni Cow. Two lanes of traffic full up to the left of me. Something must have intervened because I did not hit it and I have no idea how, because I stayed in my lane and when I looked in the rear view mirror after I had past,the cow was still there and I was still here.
You got to love Africa, this only happens here.
